We are looking for a Senior ILE COBOL Developer – IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) to join a long-term project within the financial sector.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using ILE COBOL on IBM i.
- Work on corrective and evolutionary maintenance of existing applications.
- Analyze technical requirements and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and incidents.
- Contribute to the evolution and improvement of existing systems.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams.
- Document developments, modifications, and implemented solutions.
- Participate across different stages of the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Senior-level professional experience in COBOL development.
- Strong and demonstrable experience with ILE COBOL on IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries).
- Experience maintaining and evolving applications in IBM i environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously within complex environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to clearly identify the companies, projects, and periods where ILE COBOL on IBM i was used.
Important
- This position specifically requires experience with ILE COBOL on IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries).
- Experience exclusively with COBOL on mainframe z/OS or other platforms does not meet the requirement.
