Enterprise Architect – Banking

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to join a long-term project within a leading company in the banking and financial services sector.
The role is responsible for aligning information technology with business strategy, defining the organization's capability and application maps, establishing technology roadmaps, and identifying technology solutions that address business needs.

Responsibilities
- Align information technology with the organization's business vision and strategy.
- Define and maintain the organization's capability map and application landscape.
- Define and manage technology implementation roadmaps.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify needs and anticipate major requirements.
- Understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through technology.
- Research market solutions and evaluate technologies that can address organizational needs.
- Prepare technology proposals that can be translated into concrete projects.
- Evaluate and compare different technology solutions based on functional, technical, and cost-benefit criteria.
- Support the simplification and digitalization of business processes.
- Provide functional and technological comparisons between applications to support decision-making.
- Participate in the evaluation of Core Banking solutions.
- Collaborate with domain and solution architects to evaluate how technologies integrate into the organization's application landscape and roadmap.
- Communicate technology roadmaps and architectural decisions to technology areas.
- Work closely with project teams to propose initial solutions aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with external providers to analyze proposed solutions and ensure alignment with the area's roadmap.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect.
- Strong experience working within the banking, financial services, or insurance sector.
- University degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.
- Strong experience aligning technology capabilities with business needs.
- Experience defining technology strategies, capability maps, application landscapes, and roadmaps.
- Strong experience working with business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Experience evaluating and comparing technology solutions.
- Experience working with enterprise architecture.
- Knowledge of banking business and Core Banking environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work strategically and communicate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders.
