We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a digital transformation project within the financial sector and help modernize legacy platforms into scalable, distributed architectures.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and microservices.
- Build REST APIs and integrate with legacy SOAP services.
- Support the migration of transactional legacy systems to modern distributed architectures.
- Apply Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design principles.
- Ensure performance, resilience, and observability.
- Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, and engineering teams.
- Contribute to code reviews and technical decisions.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices and distributed architectures.
- Strong experience with REST APIs and SOAP integrations.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
- Experience with CI/CD and software quality practices.
- Experience in financial or high-transaction environments is highly valued.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and OpenAPI is a plus.
